Leaves All Awhirl
Elementary Piano Solo
In the key of D Minor, "Leaves All Awhirl" was written to sound like the rustling and whirling of leaves in an autumn wind. The right and left hands play alternating two-note slurs throughout, with a descending flourish at the end as the leaves drift to the ground. Even the youngest beginners can learn this piece, with help. Some rote instruction may be necessary, but it is a very accessible piece.
